Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting credentials, and activity through your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Use Exergy Lab only in compliance with law and these terms. Do not bypass security or usage limits, access another person's data without permission, introduce malicious content, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, or support unlawful or dangerous activity.

The Chrome store package supports browser-first technical assistance: conversation, shared screens, selected-page tasks, supported attachments, and local scientific tools. It does not include native desktop control, terminal/Codex tasks, broad connected-app integrations, Monid specialist calls, or image editing. Separately enabled web and pilot features may have additional requirements. We do not promise support for every website, application, or task.

You retain ownership of files, prompts, company context, and other material you provide. You give us permission to host, copy, transmit, transform, and process that content only as needed to provide and support the requested service and its disclosed operation, security, and reliability.

Data handling is described in our Privacy Policy. Chrome extension data and connected Google data remain subject to the Limited Use commitments there. These terms do not authorize unrelated model training, advertising, sale of data, or unrestricted human review.

You must have the rights needed to share content and request actions on a website or connected account. Decide whether confidential, regulated, export-controlled, personal, or third-party data may be shared with Exergy and the providers for your feature. Do not supply passwords, payment details, or secrets in prompts, files, or shared screens.

Microphone audio, conversation text, image pixels, and requested page data can leave your device to provide the assistant. Screen sharing can continue to send frames until you stop it. Browser assistance can discover tab URLs and titles and read and change the selected page after access is enabled. Review the sharing notices and choose the narrowest surface needed for your task.

Routine steps may run without a separate confirmation. Consequential actions require the applicable review, but safeguards are not a guarantee that every risk will be detected. Check the exact destination and effect before approving uploads, sends, submissions, or changes. You remain responsible for your instructions and authorized actions.

The assistant can generate and automatically execute Python in an isolated local browser worker, including code that inspects uploaded copies or creates output files. Each run does not require separate code approval. It has no host filesystem, credentials, browser-control APIs, or external network access. Results and excerpts may return to cloud providers. Execution and file readback do not prove that assumptions, formulas, or conclusions are correct.

Turning off one capability stops that capability, not the whole session. End session stops capture and control and requests cancellation of outstanding work; it cannot undo completed actions or recall data already sent. Clear text only clears the conversation display and download links. Reset cloud consent in Data choices ends the session and clears temporary panel content and the saved consent, not account or provider records. Neither control is an account-deletion request. Exergy Lab is a decision-support tool, not a licensed engineer, financial adviser, lawyer, safety authority, or certification body. Outputs can contain errors, omissions, unsupported assumptions, or provider failures. Check sources, calculations, constraints, data coverage, and suitability before relying on them.

A verification label applies only to the specific claim and conditions independently re-established by a deterministic procedure. It is not approval of the whole answer, data source, design, or installation. Model agreement, fluent prose, confidence language, generated Python, and a completed report are not independent verification.

Do not use an output as the sole basis for safety-critical, permitting, medical, legal, employment, credit, or investment decisions. Missing data and stated limitations matter; a successful calculation does not prove real-world performance or safety.

Third-party models, search, hosting, billing, and other services are needed for some features. Their availability and data terms can differ. We do not promise vendor no-training or no-retention terms unless they are specifically established for your feature. Store approval does not establish those terms or approval by an app provider.

Where web or pilot connections are enabled, connecting an app grants the permissions on its authorization screen. Composio and the app provider process authorized requests; content can enter the assistant context. Revoking a connection stops future access but does not undo completed writes or delete copies already held by providers. Do not authorize access you cannot lawfully grant.

Separately enabled native or terminal features require installation and scoped access to local apps or files. A Codex task needs separate approval to send selected code and the task to OpenAI. Approved image editing sends pixels and instructions through Monid to Alibaba; hosted TabPFN sends prepared data to Prior Labs with external-transfer authorization. These optional features are not included merely because you install the Chrome store package.

Paid plans are billed through Square at the price and cadence shown at checkout. Taxes may apply. Features and usage allowances are described on the pricing page and may change prospectively with reasonable notice. Provider outages, limits, or insufficient allowance can prevent a task from finishing.

You may schedule cancellation from Billing Settings. Unless checkout or law says otherwise, access continues through the paid billing period and the subscription does not renew after cancellation takes effect. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed by us. Deleting local extension data or ending a conversation does not cancel a subscription.

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, integrations, models, limits, or pilot capabilities. The service may be unavailable or lose a third-party dependency. Save important outputs outside the service; we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or recovery of every task.

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably needed to protect users, meet legal duties, address non-payment, or enforce these terms. You may stop using the service at any time. Use Account Settings for account deletion or contact us for a local Free-account request. Deletion may require billing cleanup and does not erase records that must be retained or automatically revoke third-party connections.

The interface, software, branding, documentation, and other service materials belong to Exergy Lab or its licensors. Except for rights expressly granted here, no rights are transferred to you. We may use product suggestions to improve the service; sending feedback does not remove the privacy restrictions on your content.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

To the extent permitted by law, Exergy Lab will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity arising from the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Where law does not allow a limitation, it does not apply.

We may update these terms. We will post the new date and give additional notice where required. Continuing to use the service after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms. New data uses or grants still require any separate consent that applies.
